Who we are
Originally formed in 1975 and named the London Home Safety Council, the organisation extended its area of benefit to include water safety in 1981 and was renamed the London Home & Water Safety Council.

Aims and Objectives

The aims and objectives, as set in the Constitution, focus on helping to reduce the number of accidental injuries and deaths relating to slips, falls, burns, scalds, poisons and drowning in London.

It provides a voice for London in these important areas of safety by raising public awareness through networking of public bodies and other organisations on home injury prevention and water safety issues.
